The Division 5 team made the journey to North Antrim on Wednesday night and came away with a 2:10 to 1:9 victory

St. Brigid’s made the long journey on one of the worst days of the year to play this fixture and got off to a promising start with Daniel McKeever scoring two points from play and Niall Cunningham finishing off a fine solo effort to the net. MacDonald and returnee McCrudden were effective target men and St. Brigids were creating goal chance after goal chance yet were thankfull to knock two of the rebounds over the bar. Chris Donnelly won several frees and Niall Cunningham converted 4 in the first half to leave a half time score of 1:9 to 0:3

The second half beckoned with a breeze to play into and a rejuvenated home team who started to win an even break in the middle of the park. The hosts managed to
convert a couple of frees and a goal after ten minutes of the second half meant game on.The visitors lost the midfield sector and Glenravel were repelling the few attacks Naomh Brid could muster, Glenravel had cut the deficit to a single point
when a ball came of the upright and fell to Daniel Mckeever who finished well from close range. In the last ten miniutes the midfield pair of Cunningham and McGuckian re-established the earlier dominance and Chris Donnelly Matched a point from the hosts to see out a hard fought victory.

Special word of praise to Morris and McElholm who made their first start of the season and performed admirably.
