It has been a busy few weeks for the U12/U11 Football ladies football. On Saturday 29th September we hosted Kilmacud Crokes (Dublin) and St Geraldines (Louth) at Musgrave for challenge games. With over 100 players on show it proved to be a great day. Thanks to everyone for organising and for the hospitality shown to our guests.
Our U12 development squad have been training at HQ over the past month on a Monday night at 7.15pm and the turnout from the players has been great. There is a panel of around 28 players and we were able to field two teams on the 29th September.
We entered the Ardoyne GAC winter league and won the Shield by fielding mainly our development squad for next year against older U12 Teams. We intend to keep the momentum going.
Thanks to CP McCartan for his work for the U12 girls this year and to Anthony B. Brian K. Kevin D & Conor O for taking over the U12 Development Squad & Ger McNicholl for administrating the group and to all the parents whose support is vital.
