The Division 4 team fell to league leaders Mitchels at Poleglass.
Despite matching the home team for work rate and skill, Naomh Brid effectively lost this game when they conceded two soft goals when they conceded possession at the back early in the first half. Despite fine pointed scores from Ruairi O’Neill, Conor McHendry and Thomas Kane, the two defensive blunders costs dearly as Naomh Brid trailed 2-3 to 0-4 at half time.
Naomh Brid worked tirelessly, with Paddy Mc Donald outstanding in the second half and reduced the deficit to two points with 5 minutes to go, but as they pushed for the goal to win the game, Mitchels broke against the run of play to score the third and killer goal.
Despite each team scoring ten times the two first half goals proved the difference at the end.
