The S Antrim U12 Hurling league started this week and this young Brid Og team got off to a great start with a 10 points to 5 victory over Gort Na Mona at Musgarve Park. It was end-to-end in the first half with both teams playing a fast passing game and matching each other score for score. Level at half time, the result could have gone either way but in the second half Brid Og started to take control at midfield and convert possession into scores. Displaying great skills from goalkeeper to full forward the team battled hard throughout to earn a very well deserved victory.
