“Carlsberg don’t do tournaments” was one comment from a visiting mentor from the U-12 tournament today – a reflection on how well the event went.
I would like to thank all the club members who contributed to today’s successful event at Deramore: namely, pitch builders, car-parkers, tea makers, refs ,umpires, runners, score-keepers, supporters, coaches and not least our two U-12 teams. Today was a highly successful event which further raises the club profile in GAA circles and shows the ethos of the volunteer in the best light possible.
