Antrim’s eight point win over Louth at Casement Park tonight all but secured a place in next year’s ACL Div 2. Our man James Loughrey may have lined out at left half forward, but he popped up all over the field and was an effective sweeper in the second period. With Tyrone’s last gasp winner at Healy Park and Cork’s narrow win at Celtic Park, the Saffrons could well be hosting the mighty Kingdom in 2011. But for sure, next season Liam Bradley will find himself pitting his wits against his sons Paddy and Eoin as Derry drop down from the top flight.
