On Sunday 27th September Antrim ladies senior team play Limerick in the All Ireland Junior Final at CROKE Park.

In what has been an already very successful year for St Brigids ladies, Naomh Brid provide 4 players for this Antrim squad. Following on from guiding their club to win its first County title two weeks ago, Naomh Brid stalwarts Aoibhe McCann, Aoife Montague, Katie McMullan and QUB medical student Catherine Mullan will aim to help the Saffron County win its first ladies football All Ireland title on Sunday.

Former Ulster player Catherine Mullan has been a county regular for a number of years and has played a key role at centre back in the current campaign. In addition to this, she has been a worthy role model to her younger clubmates, Aoibhe McCann, Aoife Montague and Katie McMullan, all of whom at the tender age of 17 have shown a maturity beyond their youth. All four have proved that they will be integral to the success of both club and county for many years to come.

The Club is arranging transport and tickets for the final and hope Naomh Brid members will come out in force to support the County team.

Anyone wishing to go to the final should contact Anthony 07801 857888 or any of the ladies’ coaches.

Good-luck to the Naomh Brid girls and to manager David Cherry, Ciaran O’Connor and the entire Antrim panel.
