Comhghairdeas to our U12 camógs who won the Belfast 2 league. This was the first time that Naomh Brid, at any age group, had entered a team in a camogie league. So, to win their division at the first attempt is a tremendous achievement.
After a narrow defeat in their first match to Glenavy/Loch Mor, the girls then won their remaining 5 matches, including a crucial 1 goal win in the return game with Glenavy/Loch Mor to win the league.
Well done also to all mentors and parents who have worked to develop the game in our club over several years. Camogie within Naomh Brid has been going from strength to strength and is growing all the time, with great numbers participating from U12 down.
