A huge congratulations to Lorcan and Greg and their squad, who today beat Crosserlough on a score of 3-10 to 3-07 at Creggan to progress to the Ulster U21 semi-finals, where St Brigid’s will face a few familiar faces in our neighbours Carryduff. The semi will be at Creggan at a date still tbc — keep the weekends around the end of Jan/start of Feb free.
It was a brilliant performance from the lads, who managed to withstand a fightback from the Cavan champions in the second half – and a late screamer – to prevail. The goals came from Rory Brolly, Peter Henvey and John Blaney – all clinkers and can be seen here. MOTM was chosen as Paddy Finnegan.
