Hard luck to our U16 girls, who lost to a very talented Moneyglass team in the U16A Championship final at Ardoyne – it was simply not their day. At half time Naomh Bríd were very much in the game, having dominated for long periods, playing fast flowing competitive football throughout.
Unfortunately they were not able to sustain that intensity at the start of the second period against the bigger Moneyglass side, but still our girls battled to the final whistle and did themselves and the Club proud.
Credit to Moneyglass who were worthy winners on the day and well done to the referee who allowed the game to flow.
