The senior men are running a ‘Last Man Standing’ competition for the upcoming English Premier league season which starts next Friday 10th of August!
Each week select ONE team to win, if your team wins; you go through to the next round; lose or draw and you’re out.
1. Entry is £10 a person before week 1 starts: anyone can get involved, club member or not. (Players will be removed from the tournament if payment is not made!!)
2. Picks must be sent to nblastmanstanding@hotmail.com by 3pm the day before i.e that is Friday 3pm each week for Saturday kick-offs and for mid-week games teams must be submitted by Monday 3pm if games are on a Tuesday.
3. Once a team has been selected it cannot then be re-selected.
4. If you forget to pick a team you will be allocated the first team alphabetically that you’ve yet to pick (Bournemouth, most likely….!)
5. If all remaining players lose their matches they all advance to the next round.
6. If two players remain and they both do not pick a winner, a ’45s contest is held the pot is split.
7. If a team is playing twice in a game week, the opponent should be stated to prevent confusion.
See any member of the men’s senior team to pay your money! (Just wander down around Musgrave on a Monday/Wednesday evening and listen out for Eunan Conway’s frustrated yells and you’ll find them easily enough)
