The Senior Ladies recorded a great win at home to St John’s tonight, scoring 3-21 and conceding just 1-3. Brilliant performances all round from Mel Carson’s side on a fine night for football! The girls now lie 3rd on 9 points behind St Paul’s (18 points) and Moneyglass on 12.
This followed on from a resounding win for the Senior Men on Sunday against a weakened Dunloy side that were missing many of their county hurling contingent. The lads won 7-12 to 0-5 and are now 6th in a tight table, only 3 points off Gort at the top. Report via Saffron Gael here.
