The Brid Og Hurling U14s – featuring a number of dual stars – put up a great display in their ‘C’ Feile competition at St Mary’s CBS yesterday. With a victory against St John’s followed by a hard-fought win v Glenravel, the lads faced Sarsfield’s in the final.
It was a nail-biting tussle between the two teams with some terrific long-range scoring. Every player on the Ogs team gave total effort to the cause. Alas, the Sarsfield’s lads just about managed to edge it by one point. Nonetheless the Brid Og lads and their coaches can be extremely proud of their efforts in front of their vociferous supporters!
