Well done to the P1/P2 children who played on Thursday night at Dunville Park!
We faced some tough opposition from Gort na Mona, Davitts and Ardoyne but everyone hurled out of their skins.
As usual Eimear started in nets and made many fine saves, as did Patrick and Eoin when they had their chance.
All three were instrumental in forming a cast iron defence and absorbed pressure like the seasoned campaigners they’ve turned out to be.
Meanwhile Ben and Danny fought hard for possession in midfield and tackled hard to create chances for the forward line manned by Michael, Cathal and Rory, who showed off their passing, dribbling and shooting skills.
We were unlucky not to bag more goals, but the team’s display really showed how hard they’ve all worked in training.
A big thank-you to all the parents who supported us on the night, you should all be very proud.
