St Patrick’s Day Trip to Dublin

We are taking our U12 and U14 teams to Dublin to play challenge games v Na Fianna and afterwards to Croke Park to see the club All Ireland Senior Hurling Final.

COST : £15 per child (including match ticket). Cost per adult £10 – you pay your own entry into Croke Park. ( 25 euro ).

Itinerary below (to be confirmed):

08:30 Depart from Musgrave Park.

Short comfort/toilet stop at the Applegreen in Castlebellingham.

10:30 Arrive at Na Fianna pitch. Teams will play their games.

After games the teams board the bus and go to the Na Fianna clubroom for lunch.

Children may bring their own packed lunch or eat in the clubroom – lunch is 5 euro per child. Adults, carvery available at 10 euro.

13:15 Travel to Croke Park. The match starts @ 2:00.

16:00 Depart Croke Park (we are not staying for the football final) with a short toilet/comfort break in Applegreen service station.

18:00 Drop off in Musgrave Park.

Training
Tonight, Thursday 10th March, is the last indoor training session both at Hunterhouse and Rathmore. We are off next Thursday due to St Patrick’s Day and the following Thursday as it is Holy Thursday. After the Easter holidays we will move outdoors.
Remember – its £2 each at Hunterhouse to help cover the cost of the hall.

Nur-P4: 6.30-7.30, Hunterhouse
P5-U12: 7.30-8.30, Hunterhouse
U14: 8.15-9.15, Rathmore

Saturday
Primary school ages: 2.00-3.00pm St Bride’s Hall – £1 to help cover the cost of the hall.

It is hurling Go Games this weekend, so there are quite a few fixtures .

Saturday 12th March

P2/P1: 12.00-1.00pm at Sarsfields GAC, 25A Stewartstown Avenue, Belfast.These games will be outdoors. Meet there 15mins before. Wear suitable clothes.

P4/P3: 10.00am-11.00am at Sarfields GAC,25A Stewartstown Avenue, Belfast. These are outdoor games. Dress to stay warm. Meet there 15mins before.

P6/P5: 2.35 – 3.25pm at Lámh Dhearg GAC, Hannahstown. Games are running in 40 minute blocks. Meet there 15mins before
Wear at least one extra layer.

U12 Challenge Game 3.30pm-4.30pm at Lámh Dhearg GAC, Hannahstown. Be there for 3.15pm

Please note the games at Sarfields and/or Lámh Dhearg are outside on artificial pitches. So wear suitable clothing (esp if its at Lámh Dhearg, it can be colder than you might expect). Boots can be worn as long as they dont have metal studs.
