Big congratulations to Emma Ferran and Eimear Matthews who have made the Antrim U16 A Panel. No less than you deserve girls! On behalf of the entire club, we wish both of you all the best as you are an example to all our other girls who strive to play for the county.
Best wishes also to our other County Antrim players, Tara, Anna, Rebecca, Niamh and Sorcha who will line up for the Development Squad and knowing them as we do, will keep all the other clubs’ players in the A squad looking over their shoulders.
This bodes well for St Brigid’s u16’s at club level having seven players in the Antrim squad and should serve as an encouragement to all our girls at junior level. It proves that with the right attitude, commitment and dedication, success will come. It also should encourage all our parents to make sure that the compact little 16’s panel that we have at St Brigid’s are pushed to turn out to training and matches as we set off in pursuit of silverware this year. We need all hands to the pumps!
