This Sunday will see the last competitive U14 tournament for what is arguably the most successful group of players at any age group in St Brigid’s GAC’s short history. Feiles, Championships and league titles have all been lifted by this core group of girls, with a number of them having played county and international club matches. We go into Sunday’s 11 aside Culbert Brennan tournament as defending champions.

We would ask all available 14’s and 12’s to make their availability known to Philip and Ronan (text to follow), and to come along and play in this exciting event against local and multi-county squads.

Meet at St Galls at 9.30 with mouth guards (compulsory!), boots, water and a snack. Tournament should be done by about 2.30-3pm.

It is VITAL that 12’s attend as next season, almost the entire group of current 14’s move to U16 age group so our 12’s need to get used to playing at 14’s level ahead of next year’s start to the season.

Parents are encouraged to come along and support the girls and in particular offer good luck to our departing 14’s! NBA!
