Brid Og’s U12 hurlers continued their development league campaign with an away game against Saint Gall’s.
The Og’s in the first half give our opponents too much respect and allowed their strong midfield and forward line to get easy scores. In the second half after a couple of players positional changes we got closer to the opposition and the players confidence began to grow. Our midfield and back line became very solid conceding only points from distance whereas we were able to get several points ourselves together with a great goal from Fintan. We also were unfortunate in front of goal several teams hitting the upright and several pulls of the sliotar going narrowly wide.

Finally well done to our players who produced a brilliant battling performance against an excellent Saint Gall’s team. It is great to see that this league is developing our players and this should bode well for the forthcoming Nipper Quinn championship.
