St Brigids 3-9 St Pauls 1-3
The St Brigids u12 boys got off to a flying start in the South Antrim football league 1 campaign on Friday 17 April against St Pauls at Musgrave Park. St Brigids dominated the play from the start with early points. Most of the scoring was done in the first half with only a few wides into the low sun, with the half time score St Brigids 1-8 St Pauls 0-2. The second half saw St Brigids again retain much of the possession and keep the visitors from scoring until the last 5 minutes of the half.
Meanwhile St Brigids u12s also played in a challenge match against a second St Pauls team in preparation for the opening game of the u12 football league 2 against Belfast Saffrons on Friday 24 April, with scores coming from some great passing play and the boys enjoying the experience.
