Following 5 weeks pre-Christmas and 3 weeks post Christmas evaluation at Antrim development training sessions, the following players have been selected for provisional U14 and U16 panels respectively.

U14 – Eimear Matthews, Sorcha McGarvey, Rebecca Doyle, Anna Moore and Lauren Carroll.

U16 – Caoimhe Callaghan, Emma Ferran, Maeve Blaney, Anna Carburry, Anna Connolly and Caitlyn Mooney.

Development squad training will continue from this Friday ahead of a final panel selection for both age groups.

All the girls who attended the development squads from St Brigid’s and the other Antrim clubs demonstrated skills of the highest calibre, and all of them should be proud of their contribution. Similar to last year, an U14 development squad will be formed from those who were not included in the first cut, and all girls from St Brigid’s who are eligible to play at U14 level should look to make themselves available for this panel. It is anticipated that an inter county development squad competition will be held this year, similar to last year’s format.

Congratulations to all those who have been selected and show County Antrim what St Brigid’s girls can do!
