Great result yesterday for the u16 boys who won the All County Championship Final in Randalstown. Commiserations to Creggan who put up a good fight throughout.All the best to Paddy Finnegan who broke his knuckle in the first half.
Game started off slowly with the first score coming from James Smith after 10 minutes when he hit the net from a deflected shot from Ethan Carlton. A few points followed from Carlton, Smith and Gerard Kervick matched by 3 from Creggan saw the half time score 1.04/0.03.
The first score of the 2nd half came from a Smith free after Kervick was brought down inside the 21. Carlton followed up with another point and then Brogan Austin got the score of the game after a 60 yard solo run. Another few frees converted by Smith saw us worthy winners.
