Brid Og’s continued their fine form into the league encounter with the Davitts. As the game was played in the smaller training pitch in Musgrave the sides were reduced to 11 a side. The Og’s fielded a very encouraging 18 players on the evening but with only 11 starters this caused a lot of reshaping of the team to give all the players game time.
On the evening the Ogs played some excellent hurling with the extra target practice at Thursday training being rewarded as we totalled a tally of 10-15 to 1-0. A lot of the players got scores on the evening with young Owen getting a well earned goal on his Brid Og U12 debut. As usual our back line played brilliantly and restricted our opponents to one score. Hopefully we can continue this impressive form into our next league game against O’Donnells next week.
