The Ulster GAA has been given the honour of hosting the National Féile na nGael tournament for 2014. The event will take place throughout Ulster from Friday 20th June until Sunday June 22nd and will involve over 5,400 children in hurling, camogie and handball competitions in clubs throughout the province.
As part of the celebrations Ulster GAA invite all schools in Ulster to participate in a competition to help design the front cover for the event programme. The competition is open to all primary school children, boys and girls, from Primary One through to Primary Seven. The Feile weekend will include Camogie, Hurling and Handball so pupils are encouraged to include all three codes in their design.
The winning design will be used as the front cover of the programme. Prizes will be presented as follows:
1st– Ulster Kit & £100/€100 O’Neill’s Sports Voucher
2nd– Ulster Kit & £50/€50 O’Neill’s Sports Voucher
3rd– Ulster Kit & £50/€50 O’Neill’s Sports Voucher
I would encourage your Schools to participate in this competition and please send your entries in no later than 4.00pm Friday 2nd May 2014.
