Get Ready Galway, Here We Come!
After a tense and nervous wait, it has been confirmed today by Croke Park, that as winners of the Antrim Feile 2014, St Brigid’s U14 Ladies will again have the honour of representing their County at Féile Peile na nÓg 2014 in Connaught on the weekend of June 27th-29th.
With the application of a grading system being introduced to encourage wider participation from clubs, it was not certain whether St Brigid’s would be attending, despite their success in the recent County Feile.
We did our bit on the field and now have to start the hard work of training, fundraising and volunteering in order to ensure we are fit, able to finance the trip, ensure full mentor support, and kit the girls out with all that is required! We also have to keep our minds focussed on our League and Championship commitments in order to ensure that we surpass last year’s success.
We will be calling a meeting for all parents, coaches and players shortly to update you and it is vital that everyone gets along.
