Four Seasons in One Day goes the Crowded House song….and we certainly saw it at Tyrone’s HQ in Garvaghy this afternoon as three Antrim Squads went head to head with counties Derry, Fermanagh, Down, Donegal, Monaghan, Tyrone and Armagh for cup, shield and plate trophies.
We had rain, sunshine, hailstones, clouds, rainbows indeed….but the biggest storm arrived from County Antrim as our A, B & C squads each reached their respective finals and triumphed in two!
Awesome performances all round gave the Antrim selectors a real headache as they aim to hone the squad for this season. Of particular note is the fact that the biggest representation at Antrim level today came from our own St Brigid’s who contributed 15 players to across three squads.
Final match reports to follow, but results as follows: Antrim A 1-5 vs Donegal 0-5, Antrim B 2-3 vs Monaghan 1-4, Antrim C 0-0 vs Armagh 1-1. Hurricane Antrim made land in Tyrone at 3.30pm today! Awesome results!
