A massive congratulations goes out to our ex senior footballer and current member James Loughrey who’s been nominated for one of the highest honours in our games,

The 2013 GAA GPA Football All-Star nominations.

The nominations, which were announced last night make James the only Cork footballer to be considered for an award this year, which speaks volumes for the impact he had on the Rebel’s season. James was only chosen as a last minute replacement against Limerick back in May at the start of their campaign but pushed on to secure a starting position and even scored 2 points against The Kingdom in the Munster Senior Football Final.

Congratulations to all the other nominees, especially the Ulster men.
