The boys Under 12 Division One Footballers played their third match of the current league campaign away to St Galls at Milltown on Friday 3 May 2013.

The boys had performed well in the first two league matches against Rossa and Lamh Dhearg but were taking nothing for granted against St Galls at Milltown. The first half was a tight affair with the two sides trading points through the half until St Brigid’s made the breakthrough late in the half with a fortuitous goal, scrambled across the line.

The second half showed the St Brigid’s lands pressing forward and building from a sound mid field platform.  The good sized crowd was kept entertained to the finish with some very sporting football from both teams with St Brigid’s ultimately winning on a score line of 6-9 to St Brigid’s and 8 points to St Galls.
