In the first even single game Antrim Feile final our young girls over came a very spirited St Pauls side to win back the Antrim Feile crown. Having turned at half time 2.1 – 0.4 ahead and playing with the wind advantage in the second half the Namoh Brid girls were pushed all the way in a very exciting game. With 5 minutes left on the clock, the sides were level 2:2 – 0:8 and the possibility of extra time looking likely. a final push from Michele Magee say he being fouled inside the box for a Penalty. Emma Ferron hit a powerful shot, that although the keeper got hands to the ball, went into the net for a tension easing lead. Michele Magee then sealed the victory with a magnificent long range point just ahead of the final whistle. This was the clubs 3rd Feile success in the last 4 years and is a credit to all the coaches, parents and most importantly the young players of our club. As with 2010 – the Feile final will be Hosted by Derry. Well done and good luck to all involved. NBA
