Last week the Little Wing pizzeria on the Lisburn Road once again threw its doors open to St Brigids club members and families in another fantastic fundraising night. This was the third summer in a row where Little Wing waived the food bill and diners were asked to make a contribution in lieu of their bill. Over 3 sittings more than £1,000 was raised.

St Brigids Chairman Dermot Dowling paid tribute to Little Wing and their staff.

“Running a club as large as ours would be impossible without the support from the local business community. The relationship with Little Wing is a great example of club members, families and supporters enjoying a great night and helping a good cause in the process. The manager of the Little Wing Zowie Douglas and her colleagues on the night were great, they managed big numbers of children and families with patience and with a smile.

“I would encourage all club members to support those businesses which support the club. See you in Little Wing some time soon!”
