2:12 to 1:10 was the final score in this minor game. however naomh brid made hard work of this match. First half highlights included corner forward Gerard Henvey making a searing run straight to the edge of the paralellogram and a quick pass found Rory Finnegan who slammed to the roof of the net.
Dan O’Hanlon at full back kept the north Antrim boys at bay, Donal Prenter held the centre half slot firm and Niall Quinn was getting to grips in midfield in the last ten minutes of the half.
Naomh Brid could not pull away from the north Antrim men and it took three fine points from play from Conor Leonard and a brace from Cathal Conway to keep the hosts at bay.
Overall Dan O’Hanlon, Conor Leonard and Rory Finnegan were best on the day. Well done to the 18 boys who all got 30 minutes and played their part.
