St Brigid’s U12s were in action on Tuesday night 30 May 2012 against St. Paul’s at Musgrave in Division One of the South Antrim League.
The St Pauls team are considered one of the stronger units in Division One and there was a full turnout to meet the challenge.
In a most impressive first half of display, St Brigid’s dominated both possession and scoring and played some fast attacking football, moving the ball fluidly between defence and attack. The second half was a tighter affair but tenacious defending helped prevent St Paul’s from getting a toehold in the game. The final score was 6 – 4 St Brigid’s – 0 -7 St Paul’s and the St Brigid’s lads remain unbeaten in the League this year.
