Feargal Leyden (hurling) and Cathal Conway (football) were selected for the Ulster under 16’s in their respective codes. Both attended an Ulster Council elite 3 day camp at Jordanstown in July with Tony Scullion and played against Galway and Connaught hurlers and Dublin under 17 footballers respectively.
This speaks volumes for the coaching work put in at under age level to get two
players from the club on the panels.
They join a host of club players on the county development panels at both codes and many age groups.
