The boys in blue had a hard fought victory over fellow south Belfast gaels St Malachys in the ACL Div 4. The sucess of the football can be guaged from the fact that while seven years ago our first team had difficulty in beating St malachys, now the second string have progressed sufficiently to perform well against St Mal’s.
With only a point in the game with 15 minutes to go, a calm head from Conor Mackle and some power play from Niall Macdonald was enough to see Naomh brid through and retain the chance of securing promotion with three leagues games left.
