In the first game of the 2011 reserve league our Naomh Brid ladies lost by just one point to west Belfast rivals St Pauls.
With just 5 minutes remaining on the clock our girls were narrowly ahead by a single point. However, inexperience showed when we were unable to kill off the game and allowed St Pauls to nip in with two unanswered points in the very closing stages.
With 11 of the starting line-up still playing in the U16 team this has given the girls great encouragement. Next up – St Comgall’s Antrim – Sunday 6.00pm at Casement.
