After a long summer break the Malone Road boys resumed their league campaign with a win over Rasharkin at Musgrave Park. Going into the half-time whistle with a 1-10 to 0-5 lead the hosts were very much in command thanks to some fine scores from play from by Thomas Niblock who had a great match attacking from midfield. With Brendan Corrigan and Ciaran Mackle solid in the full back line, Conor Mackle lively up front and Jimmy King knocking over frees it was a promising start. The game turned around after ten minutes with Rasharkin closing the gap and it took a goal from sub Martin Ramsay to ensure victory for the boys in blue. Tomas Niblock was man of the match with a good first half performances fron Niall MacDonald and Denis Stack. The Div 4 team play next Wednesday and train on Thursday evening at 6:45 at Musgrave Park.
