Joyless Sunday for the Saffrons

There was no joy for the Saffrons on Sunday as they lost out in both codes by the minimum margin. While the hurlers went down to Clare by a point at Casement Park, the footballers, who had led for almost the entire match, succumbed to a late penalty as Offaly mainted their unbeaten run at O’Connor Park since 2007.
