TAKE THE LEAP

This is the time of the year where individuals come together to make up the coaching teams for the new Season.

Success this year at Ladies and U14 has come about with a lot of hard work and passion. Yet with retirements their hard working mentors need new support to begin to match this year’s success.

Other levels like Fun Sunday and Minor level always need extra support to keep the tasking level down to manageable levels.

A senior panel of coaches needs to develop so anyone who believes they can be anything from stats help to water carrier put their name forward.

The Very successful U12 and the U16 squads can also be supported by parents and facilitators of all sorts.

The club in particular needs ladies to come forward to support: in particular with the ladies section and the Fun Sunday groups.
Some coaches have experience and others want to take a small role in a particular aspect of the mentoring process. Some have got to the stage that they have the experience and skills but don’t know who to approach to get involved.

The club is committed to supporting all coaches and will ensure that they have the First aid and Access NI training / clearance to support a group.
If you have any experience or a desire to help out with one of the groups listed please email the club secretary ASAP and ensure that your energies are utilised for the good of the Gaelic Playing Community in St Brigid’s.
