St Brigids under 14’s beat Bellaghy Wolfe Tones under 14’s in a challenge game last Friday at the picturesqe setting of Musgrave Park on a score of 6:12 to 4:6.
A storming first half display which racked up a score of 3:8 to 0:2 at the break laid the foundation for a great display of football from the South Belfast men. Leyden, Conway, McKiernan, Lagan, Quinn were all to the fore in a great team display that augurs well for the rest of the season.
Jim Hughes and mentors Declan Boyle, Connor and Sean saw reward for their hard work over the last few months with a very promising display from one to 20.
