The final score of 3:15 to 1:6 reflects the difference between the two teams on the day.
A strong panel lined out for the St. Brigid’s second string in what turned out to be a one sided game as the opener in a double header at Musgrave Park on Sunday last. With aspirations of promotion still on the agenda the boys in blue were intent on taking the points and started off with a succession of well taken scores from play, from Brolly, McCann, Mackle, and King. However the goal chances were also going a begging and at least two goal chances were squandered and a penalty converted for a point by captain
Jimmy King while the North Antrim men staged a revival to go in at the break 9 points to 3 in arrears.

When a “minor” was scored by the excellent midfielder Chris mc Cann on the restart .The game was in no doubt, when livewire Full Forward Conor Mackle and then Jimmy King added further goals. The last goal was scored by our latest recruit Wayne Storrie who made the seamless switch from playing the oval ball with our partner club Harlequins to playing Gaelic football. The game petered out with a late goal for Dunloy and the hosts making 5 switches and giving the strong bench some game time.

Highlights and positives were plenty with Ben Sinnott and John Mckeever imperious at the back Chris McCann dominant in the middle and Jimmy King and Conor Mackle always a threat up front.
Men of the match John McKeever and Jimmy king had their two best games all season.
