The Senior Ladies defeated All Saints, Ballymena (not the band!) at YMCA on Wednesday 27 August and secured a place in the County Final to be played at Casement Park. The large home support saw an evenly contested first half which finished 1:1 to 0:4 .Thanks to an excellent goal by sophie curran the hosts went in level at the break. A second half rear guard action backed by Helen Keenan and Aoife McCann helped steady the ship and once the second goal was scored the hosts were always favourites to reach the final.
Congratulations to Conor McKendry on his hard work and the entire squad which was excellently led by Captain Orla Montague.
