The U12s turned in another battling performance at Corrigan Park on Friday evening in their top-of-the-table clash with St John’s, which the home side eventually won by five points. However, Naomh Brid were at least a match for their rivals for much of the game with the Johnnies’ higher rate of scores from chances the crucial difference on the day. The commitment and endeavour could not be faulted and the boys can take confidence from this gallant display as they prepare for next week’s championship quarter final against Lamh Dhearg.
