St Brigid’s minors scored a goal and two points in the last ten minutes to beat St Teresa’s in their opening minor league game of the South Antrim Div 2 campaign.
A rasping shot from McCann sealed a victory that owed much to the hard work of Michael Malone in midfield, Ciaran Connolly at corner back and the dependable Mackle and Kelly bros.
Well done to those turned up and contributed to a spirited victory, including under 16’s Dowling and Leonard who both played vital roles in the game.
