The U12s enjoyed a narrow win over Davitt’s in the last of their series of challenge matches before the league starts on Friday. This was an even and sporting contest between two well matched sides who will meet twice in Div 1. While the blustery conditions at the YMCA on Sunday undoubtedly made scoring difficult, St Brigid’s will know that they too often found the goalkeeper’s hands when a point seemed on. However, overall this was a decent battling performance and good preparation for Friday’s league opener at home against St Enda’s.
