Training continues at St Bride’s Hall where there was a large turnout last night with more people returning and a couple of new faces. Great to see the Keenan girls and Rose McKeogh back.

Word has it that Conor McHendry has upped the intensity levels and going by Kate McCormick and Anna Finnegan’s boxing skills there certainly will be more punch in the St Brigid’s girls’ performances this year.

Aoife Montague is now turning into a Skipping champion but those high skips will make her a bigger threat under the high ball around the square. Peter Canavan will be well impressed in Marbella.

Jenny and Katie McMullan really enjoy the training but cannot work out why Conor asks everyone to sit on a bouncy ball for 2 minutes with a 30 second break in between!

Kate Finnegan and Rachael McKeogh seem to have mastered the evasion belts, so much so that no-one could find them!

The McKendry girls have certainly mastered the tackle bags, so watch out any forwards venturing into the Naomh Brid back line.

Jody Gormley watch out, Catherine Mullan is now into management.

Anyway it’s amazing how silent it is in the hall with everyone keeping all their news for the end of training! Silence is golden!

Anyway keep your eyes on the web for a possible match at the weekend for minors. Training again next Wednesday at 7.45pm. You know the routine, water bottle and a friend!
