A superb game in which reality did dawn: we are as good as any team out there. You could see on players’ expressions the belief filtering through after five minutes. Our Guests were rattled and in new territory – behind at half time and well under the cosh to a vastly improved St Brigid’s. Two soft goals at the start of the second half [nobody’s fault yet everybody’s fault] was the difference in the end, though, and we went down by 1-2 yet greatly buoyed by a big performance.
