The Under 14 girls will take part in Kilmacud Crokes “All Ireland” 7s on 30th September for the second successive year.

The club secured its invite on foot of a promising debut and seven of last year’s squad are eligible for this year so hopes are high of surpassing last year’s fine achievement of a quarter final place in the “plate” although the standard is very high with representation from the top clubs of all 32 counties.

This is a very prestigious event with a lengthy waiting list for entry. St Brigid’s had the good fortune to be invited last year and their return is due in no small measure to the sportsmanship displayed by last year’s team which earned the club many new friends and in particular impressed the host club. Good luck to the girls.

A plea please for parents [particularly mothers] to volunteer to travel with the team. For information please contact any of the ladies coaches.
