The year finally drew to a close with the Under 21s suffering a defeat in the Championship at the hands of a strong St Galls team. Although leading 0-8 to 0-5 at the break, two goals in as many minutes early in the second half effectively killed the game as a contest. While St Galls were good value for their win, the margin was somewhat flattering.
Given that every player on duty was Under 20 (and a few Under 17) there is no reason why this Championship, along with The Intermediate, cannot be targeted in 2006.
