The Division 4 team followed up their impressive win over Glenavy in the Junior B Championship with another strong performance running out winners 3.14 to 1.8 over an under strength St Joseph’s team in this league game.
This game saw the return from a month long vacation of Dermot Dowling who showed no enthusiasm for a stint at corner back, but rolled back the years against the Glenavy teenagers at centre forward. Chris Rogers made a welcome return at mid field before disappearing after the game (has he emigrated?!)
Eamon Murphy deputised in goals and Enda Kerr made his full debut.
