Top spot was secured in Division 3 with one of the year’s poorest performances. Duncan MacAuley and James Loughrey added late first half points to the 4 earlier scores from Joe Brolley. This meant a half time lead, after trailing 0-3 to 0-0, against the run of play and totally undeserved.

If the first half was nearly even, the second was even worse. With Brolley having added 1-3 plus a miskick from Paddy McDonald that went over the bar (sorry Paddy), a 7 point lead was opened up by the 12th minute. From there to the end the visitors really put on a display for the travelling camera man. The consolation is that whoever he reports back to will be happy to play six men on Brolley such will his lack of concern be for any other threats.
Well done lads… Lull them into a false sense of security!
