Sunday March 20th saw the commencement of the 2005 leagues with the Division 3 side overcoming Gort na Mona while in Division 4 St Endas were the victors.
Goals from Joe Brolly and Aidan Owens helped ease St Brigids into a comfortable 2 –2 to 0 – 1 half time lead and a Brendan McDonald goal within minutes of the restart effectively killed off the game as a contest. Paul McCrudden wrapped up the scoring late on with a screamer from all of 30 …inches!
James Loughrey and Deaghlan O’Hagan provided the engine room for this performance with Joe Brolly converting virtually every chance that came his way.
